how can I get rid of acne quickly? need major assistance?
I have this national conference in 10 days, and I want to look good for it. I'm an 18 year old male who works out 5 days a week and I'm currently on the Exposed acne treatment, but I'm on day 11 and it doesnt seem to have done really anything. I was on Proactiv for 9 months, which worked wonders, and then it seemed to stop using it/I got concerned after it didnt work well for a couple days so I stopped using it right away. I've tried baking soda scrubs/moisturizer, the la roche posay biomedic wash and effaclar k and effaclar ai spot treatment, and while that didnt really make the problem worse, it didnt really help either.
It just seems like I keep going in circles and I can't get anything to work for me. My acne is mainly on my chin and above my upper lip. It's just driving me crazy and I can't seem to shake it and I want to look good you know? I have a good body and I know the girls want that but with my face it makes me concerned...and college starts in 2 months :O after I work out I shower and during the workout if I'm real sweaty I rinse my face with water
please help. any suggestions/solutions that can have me not necessarily perfect, but relatively clear, in ~10 days? or should I keep believing in exposed
Chelsea T - do you think I should abandon the exposed system after the 11 days or whatever and go to the clean and clear? and whats your regimen that you use for that?
ohjeez- if my skin has been dry, but now seems ok cuz of the exposed stuff and using cetaphil moisturizer before that, what should i be doing? and what was your skin care regimen for the wash?

Something that works for me when I have a bad breakout that I want to clear up fast is acne cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Neutrogena and Clearasil have their own versions of this type of thing. It’s called a spot treatment. Use it daily and you should see an improvement. If Proactive worked for you, this probably will too because both products have benzoyl peroxide. And drink a LOT of water every day! Drinking lots of water almost always makes a difference in clearing up skin

well im a 16 year old girl and acne is a big issue for me. i use the clean and clear 3 in one acne cleanser. it works wonders for my skin and could do the same for you. also try drinking lots and lots of water, it helps me alot. good luck.

Try drinking 3 cups of green tea a day, I hear it really helps. And you can buy vitamin C topical stuff that supposedly helps well. and some good neutragena face wash. really, try the green tea thing though. And on the day of the confrence use green tea bags on your face to get rid of the redness.

i used to have acne but it was very little i dont have it anymore im 14 year old girl and i use cetaphil it works great however clean and clear does not work for everyone it all just depends on your skin type.for example when i used clean and clear 3 in 1 it made my skin was in the worst shape than ever and i would probably use an oily skin based wash because you sweat and sometimes sweat can make acne worse
good luck (:
