Acne treatments such as benzoyl peroxide, topical antibiotics, alpha- and beta-hydroxy acid creams, and tretinoin
For acne-prone skin, try one of these:

    * Clinique’s Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam
    * Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Cleanser
    * Topix Benzoyl Peroxide 5% Wash
    ____________
    Best Practices
    # Wear protective clothing and hats as an additional measure of protection.
    # Avoid the sun during peak hours (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
#Apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes BEFORE you go out into the sun
If you go into the sun immediately after applying sunscreen, stay in the shade for the first 30 minutes.
#Reapply your sunscreen about every 2 hours.
#Use an SPF-containing lip balm whenever you are out in the sun.

    Tips for Preventing Breakouts
    * Choose "noncomedogenic" hair, skin, & makeup products.
    * Avoid touching your face with your hands. Hands can spread bacteria to facial pores.
    * Rinse off soon after working out to help prevent sweat and skin oils from mixing and clogging pores.
    * Avoid overwashing or using harsh scrubs. These can cause excess oil production.
    * Keep stress under control. Stress doesn’t cause acne, but it may lead to overproduction of skin oils.
Acne is caused by the clogging of the skin pores, due to excess sebum or oil production. When the skin pores get clogged, bacteria and dirt can get easily trapped inside the pores, which eventually, causes infection. The result is inflammation and redness of the infected area, which we can recognize as acne or pimple.

Retinol (is Vitamin A) is very successful when used as a treatment for acne and skin ailments
Regular application of Retinol will make the skin smooth and soft. pores on the skin will be less visible. Aging signs due to wrinkles in the skin will decrease. Retinol also stimulates collagen production.help treat wrinkles, deep lines, circles under the eyes, and acne scars on the face

Look Among the hundreds of ingredients in skincare products:
Vitamin A (retinol, retinoic acid or Retin-A, retinyl propionate, and retinaldehyde)
    Vitamin E: DL-alpha-tocopherol
Vitamin C ascorbic acid or Ascorbyl
Vitamin B3 : niacinamide or niacin
    B5: (pantothenic acid)
What ingredients should I look for in a skin cream?
An effective skin cream will contain ingredients that help minimize your skin’s water loss. Look for creams with glycerin moisturizer (glycerin) , silicones, dimethicone and mineral oil. Creams containing synthetic or natural lipids (fat) work to imitate your natural skin and can also be effective

  2. oxy 10 spot treatment helps with the pimple you have on the chin

consult your doctor about decreasing the differin or changing it

    cetaphil moisturizer

    nivea for men facial moisturizer

thick moisturizers can clog your pores..aka vaseline

    look for oil free moisturizers

  3. Yes the chlorine will dry out your skin, but it should also help your skin to improve. I would avoid vaseline as it is oil based and will aggravate your skin and cause flare ups of acne.

If I was you, I would use an effective acne treatment that will remove the need for any additional moisturizers.

If you do a search on the net, you will see many excellent products out there. Always check the testimonials and if in doubt contact them direct.

    Hope this helps
