Help improve my diet to clear ACNE?!?! PLEASE!!!?

Well i'm trying to get rid of my pimples!! I was hoping maybe you guys could add something to my daily routine to improve my acne prone skin?

1. Morning - wash face with an anti-blackhead scrub and a wash cloth.
2. Work - wash face at around 2 pm again with the daily blackhead scrub.
3. Come home - exercise. stuff like leg lifts, crunches, cuz i'm trying to get back into shape.
4. Wash face again.
5. Night - Wash face again with the anti-blackhead scrub.

Erm... so yea.. any suggestions on what I should do to improve it?

My diet usually includes
1. LOTS of milk, coffee addict... erm about 500 - 600 mL of milk, like chocolate milk, plain milk... hehe yea..
2. Black tea
3. Loads of veggies, am a vegetarian except for sea food
4. salmon twice a week, tuna once every 2 weeks maybe
5. Rice almost everyday
6. Bread once a day
7. Cereal for breakfast.
8. Always eat 2 apples a day
9. Occassionally eat junk food.
10. Chocolate maybe twice a week.
11. Mango/orange juice
oh and I also use a Neem and Turmeric All Natural Mask twice a week as isntructued. I can actually feel the difference when using this stuff.. however it doesn't help with pimples.

I also mainly get my pimples on my fore heat and A LOT under my chin... thats the main place i get them. its like they are all concentrated there for some reason... any suggestions on that as well?

  1. From my dermatoligist, I learned that ance can be made worse if you wash your face too much. I wash my face twice a day, and that’s what my doctor intructed me to do (once at morning and night) That could be your problem, when you wash your face too much it turns your skin around, causing acne (thats what my derma. said). Also, drinking lots of water helps with hydration and I think it helps with acne, too. If your acne gets really bad, see a dermatologist, it is totally worth it! Good luck!

  2. my pop told me that he had acne when he was younger (to comfort me of corse) and that when he stopped eating chocolate it did clear up, so for some people it is possible that diet can help or hurt acne attempts. i’d avoid it just incase.. however i cleaned up my diet and competed in three bodybuilding competitions… only to find my skin got WORSE with the improved diet. even drinking all that water! so for some people, that’s not the cause. your doctor can prescribe you lotions that work better than the ones in the store. after years of failed pills and creams my doctor finally gave me one called klaron lotion. it’s fabulous. i actually cried and hugged my doctor when we found it. my skin’s by no means perfect still, but it’s so much better and more managable.

also… you are overwashing your face. you have glands in your pores called sebatious glands. these glands secret sebum, or what you see as the oil on your face. when you remove the oil too often, they kick into overdrive to regrease your face and you wind up worse than you were! (this holds true for putting alcohol on your face as well) keep it to morning and night. if you aren’t wearing make up you can use just a warm water splash after your workout, but if you are you won’t want to do that…. which brings up another point. are you wearing make up? certain brands will cause more problems. i’m in love with neutrogena clear skin line, or bare minerals.

good luck sweetie… you aren’t alone… and some of us who don’t look like we are there now… well we were at one point!

  3. Drink plenty of water and exercise. You may want to try green or a detox. remove sugar.
