Help! I need advice on what face soap to use……?

I was using Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power Foam Wash to wash my face twice daily. I still use it sometimes, but a friend gave me a sample of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and told me that her dermatologist told her that Cetaphil was better for your skin (opposed to the same foam wash I use). I could not get an appointment with my dermatologist for another month or so, so I need advice on what to face wash/ and or acne spot treatments to buy. My skin is oily and my acne is not bad when I do treat it. I will give best answer!

  2. burts bees acne scrub is the best and it smells good :)

  3. Cetaphl is the best! i use it all the time! and my face is clear and soft!!!!!
and it lathers up really good!! it is perfect for sensitive skin

  4. Personally I have had terrible luck with drugstore skincare. I’ve decided to invest in high end and clear up my skin once and for all. 1 word. CLINIQUE! AWESOME high end skincare! I cannot RAVE enough about their amazing acne 3 step! It’s gotten me sooooooooooooo far and I’m getting closer to achieving my goal! (clear skin)

    2 tips:
    1. BE CONSISTENT! 3 min a day, 2 x a day! not too bad!
    2. LISTEN to your skin! If it’s screaming in dry, chappedness…call clinique! they’ll suggest what to do/get to help your skin the healthy way :)

Did you know that if you don’t clear up your skin the correct way in your teenage years, you will end up with acne scarring? scary thought!

Dont’ hesistate to message me w/ any questions!!

  5. I’ve found that the best cleansers are Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser and Simple’s Cleanser. Both leave your skin feeling really soft, and they don’t aggrevate the skin, by causing redness or a break out. Just wet your face, apply the cleanser with your hands, and massage in, then just gently rinse off using a (slightly wet) cotton wool ball.

  6. I would recommend Mary Kay’s Velocity skin care. I used it and it cleared up my acne and kept my oily skin under control. You can contact a Mary Kay rep in your area for a sample or a free facial. It was the only product that actually worked without drying out my skin. Find a Mary Kay rep by going to http://www.Marykay.com and clicking on shop with and Independent Beauty Consultant Today!!

  7. Shea Moisture’s African Black Soap is purifying, gentle, and really clears up skin. Plus, you can use it on both your face and body. You can find it at Target or online. http://www.sheamoisture.com/products/pro…

Another great soap for both your face and body is Dr. Bronner’s Hemp Peppermint Liquid Castile Soap. The formulation of this soap is beautiful; it keeps skin clear without being drying, and it literally makes your skin tingly-clean and fresh. You can find Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps at most health food stores or online. http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/PEP.htm

A combination of these two products keeps my skin absolutely clear.

Oh, and donate your used toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel, and soap)! I was thinking that you might want to check out Clean The World ( http://www.cleantheworld.org ) and perhaps send the remnants of your used toiletries to them via Central Care Mission. I’m a big fan of fun bath products, but any that don’t suit my fancy, or the last bits of the soap bars, get sent to them to help prevent disease and death in Third World countries.

Thanks, and have a great day!
