Ever since I stopped taking the pill my skin has been a disaster?

While on the pill, my skin was always smooth and I barely had any outbreaks. Now,my skin is a disaster. I am 47 years old and my skin is covered with huge pimples and acne, like that of a 13 year old teenager. I cannot afford any of those expensive Acne treatments, and I do not have health insurance at this time. Are there any alternative treatments that have worked for other ladies my age?

  1. This happens. The pill is a hormone balancer, so it makes your skin look amazing. What you can do is go to Sephora and buy the DDF line, it lasts a really long time and works amazing. I would say get these 3 things, there toner, 10% glycolic gel, and there 5% glycolic mask. You will see in less than 1 week amazing results. The glycolic kills all the germs making u get pimples and literally kills them. Doesnt hurt though. Good luck and if you have anymore questions EMAIL me

  2. Proactive is the best acne treatment.

  3. I have been there before. But u cant just leave it that way. Pls use Proactive Solution. Its the best there is. The solution can be used for four months depending on how u use it! The bottle says its good for two months but mine can last up to four. Use small amounts…. at first time use… make it thrice a week only. When ur skin is adapted to it u can use it for once a day….i prefer at night only. Then just wash ur face in the morning with a gentle facial wash. I hope this could be of help as it did mine!
