Dermablend/alternative to cover body acne?

I suffer from moderate back and chest acne even though my face is relatively clear, I'm working on clearing it and seeing a derm soon but nothings working so far, and I desperately need it to be less noticable for next week when I have to wear a dress (and no luck finding a dress which completly covers it either so don't bother telling me to get a new one)
So I've heard about dermablend and wondering about how useful it is for covering the spots and scars on my back and chest, how can I check that it's the right skin-tone for me?
Or is there an alternative that I can buy IN THE UK

thanks in advanced

  1. dermablend is actually pretty good. I use it to cover veins on my legs and an area on my foot where capillaries broke during my pregnancy. You have to really make sure that you get the right shade though. Literally have to have the salesperson try it on your back, which could be awkward in the store. But if you succeed in finding the right shade then you will be happy with the results. You have to apply it very accurately. At the store they will try to get you to buy two products- the cream cover up and then the setting powder. You may not really need the setting powder.

Also- if you have time, consider trying a mineral makeup powder applied with a large body brush. I actually tried mineral makeup on my foot (was in a rush one day) and it did pretty well and was somewhat waterproof too.
