Cheap, effective acne medication?
I'm currently having the worst acne breakout of my life. It's been getting progressively worse over the past few months, ever since I moved to Germany for a cultural exchange. I'm unsure whether the cause is due to a hormone surge or diet change, but the end result is that my forehead and both my cheeks are covered in pimples.
I'm looking for a cheap and effective treatment for moderate level acne that could be pruchased over the counter in an ordinary drug store. Please include as much detail as possible. Preferably something available in Germany.
Note: Severity is roughly equal to that in the attached picture, except that there's more on the cheeks. Also, I'm not female.

I have been eating a lot more meat and cheese and a lot fewer green vegetables since I arrived.

* Apply orange peel paste on and around the pimples.
* Apply garlic on and around the pimples to remove it without a mark.
* Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin B and Vitamin E are the best nutrients to cure the acne. So take a balanced diet full of nutrients and vitamins.
* Mix lime juice and rose water in equal proportion. Apply it on affected areas and allow it to dry for 10 minutes.
Even after the treatment, acne leaves scars. Excellent home remedies to remove acne scars are listed here. Follow these tips to get rid of the acne scars.
* Rub ice cubes on face for 10 minutes to tighten the pores.
* Cucumber juice can also be used to tighten the pores. Apply it and allow it to dry for 10 minutes.=========

That’s odd, could be diet. Then again, some people never eat veggies but they never break out.. from what I read about adult break outs they are usually hormonal. I ordered a female progesterone face cream (called "Kokoro balancing)" I asked about it on yahoo answers but got no reply, after it arrives I’ll write you back and let you know if it works. If it doesn’t, then maybe female hormones from a doctor?
