  1. Right off the bat the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit is one of the best on the market.

I have battled acne since I was 12 years old and now I’m 23. I have tried pore strips, washes, Proactive, scrubs, and numerous dermatologists.

I can tell you that Black Head erasers and pore strips work for immediately getting rid of the problem….however they don’t get rid of the bacteria and infections in your pores that cause it.

I have used the Clean and Clear kit for about 6 months now and I went from a face full of peaks and valleys to completely clear for the past 4 months.

The kit does what scrubs and stuff just alleviate temporarily. Honestly after using it you won’t need anything else.

But if you had to use anything else to get rid of blackheads or pustules…take any type of wash and add a little sugar (regular old sugar from the kitchen) as you lather it up. It will naturally exfoliate your skin, won’t leave marks, dig deep through layers of skin and leave your skin very very smooth.

**Your keys to clear skin in acne medication is benzol peroxide, salicylic acid, and possibly adapalene. That’s it in any form. Any acne regimen without it won’t work. *period*

  2. Dude, I use 5 different acne controls. My acne is still here.

  3. i use alot of things but mine are like lemons and tea tree oil and soap stuff like that is ok

  4. You should get the book Breaking Out by Lydia Preston to help you understand what causes acne, how it forms and how to treat it. You can waste loads of time and money if you don’t know what the products you are using can and cannot do for your skin. Scrubs are generally a bad idea if you have inflammatory acne as they will likely exacerbate the problem. Pore strips are also not advisable. For blackheads a product containing 2% salicylic acid (sometimes called BHA) in an acid base of between 3 and 4 is recommended, however even this will take a couple of months to work fully.

Otherwise you could try a prescription cream like Tazorac.

  5. Yes you can, just make sure to use a non oil based moisturizer along with to prevent over drying. im using st ives apricot scrub, oxy pads, and clearisil vanshing cream
