Can the sun actually help chest/back acne or what else may help?
I'm a 35 year old woman that has tried EVERYTHING for my persistent chest/back acne. I've gone to different dermatologists and tried perscription stuff, holistic stuff, and over the counter stuff and nothing works. The only thing that does seem to help is the sun. I get like mostly red hard bumps and little whiteheads and the sun atleast takes care of the larger pimples but I still get whiteheads. One of the problems is that my skin is itchy because of our dry winter weather and when I itch, I break open the pimples and spread them. I know the sun isn't good for you but I'm desperate to get rid of these buggers! PLEASE HELP!

Level one tanning can help acne. That is the basic tanning, if you can’t get sun during the winter. Additionally, you might consider whether there is any food substance that might contribute to the health of your skin. Although dermatologists will disagree with this, people can often suffer outbreaks from certain foods. Some to be suspect of: milk or wheat. My son began tanning and eliminated milk and dairy from his diet and his severe acne cleared up. He was so happy. When he would add dairy to his diet, again, he noticed digestive problems, so it can affect things besides your skin. You can look this up, online to get more information. Also take some fish oil or other EFA’s.

yeh it’s to do with the vitamin D produced by our body when we are eposed to suns rays. i think. use the sun if that works for you or a tanning bed
