Can anyone reccomend any medication for back acne? Why do I get back acne?

I have had a problem with back acne since I was a teenager. Now, I'm in my twenties. I get all sorts of acne of my back regular zits, blackheads, and whiteheads. I have tried Clearsil for the back acne but, it did not work it was too messy and it simply did not work. I do not understand the reason I'm getting back acne at my age. I mean I shower and or take baths every day or night. Can tell me why I'm getting this acne at my age? And, can anyone reccomend a good medication to put on my back acne?

  1. if you’re keeping your back clean, exfoliating regularly, then the dermatologist would probably tell you that it is some kind of bacterial infection. before you say, "gross!", it’s not that big a deal. it just means that you need to treat the acne from the INSIDE out, not just putting stuff on the skin. there are different antibiotics like minocycline, coupled with a topical gel, that should clear it up. if you don’t want to go to the dermatologist, there was a produt in walmart called herbal cure or something, that had a pill and a lotion in a box for like $10 that you could try.

  2. TMI

  3. Go to a dermatologic. They’ll asses your situation and keep a good watch on you, and prescribe medication that’ll suit your situation.

  4. Make sure you exfoliate regularly. Try a puff or loofah with a soap containing salicylic acid, like Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash. Then use a cream with benzoyl peroxide at night, just wear an old T-shirt to bed because it can bleach sheets out. You might also try birth control pills if you aren’t on them already, they can really help clear up acne.

  5. Yea, i have the same problem…i went to a dermatologist and he prescribed a cream called Duac…it works really good on acne anywhere.

  6. Diet is the key for your problem. Stop eating fatty foods – eat more oats. Also you may be wearing shirts that do not let your skin breath.

  7. Try Neutrogena – On The Spot. It helps to dry the acne. Try for a few days, continuously.

  8. You should consult a Dermatologist. He will prescribe the necessary medicines seeing your condition.

  9. PRO-ACTIVE.
believe me. i actually got it for christmas and i haven’t broken out or gotten one zit since than, that stuff REALLY actually does work. and "backne" is usually caused by wearing shirts that make u sweat too much, try wearing your hair up and t-shirts that let your back breathe more.

  10. There is some useful advice here.

  11. I used to have this same problem. As for any spots they will go away in time. I used clean and clear body wash/scrub. Make sure you wash your back very well. If you sweat do not stay in your clothes too long nad try to stay away from heat. Use cocoa butter lotion to help with the scars. It takes a while, but my back is nice nad smooth now.

  12. nature’s cure is good.

and most people get backne because they don’t change their sheets regularly.
