Can anyone give me help with chest acne?

I am not sure if what i have is called chest acne but i have dozens of red pimple looking things on my chest so I can't wear low cut tops anymore. I tried scrubs and things but nothing is working. Does anybody know of products or techniques to use to get rid of it or should i schedule an appointment with my doctor or dermatoligist?

  1. It is best to see a dermatologist so they can diagnose your condition properly. It could be any skin condition mimicking acne or any allergy. Again, I would stress out the importance of seeing a doctor on this.

  2. RUBBING ALCHOL HELPS DRY IT OUT AND GO AWAY.

  3. i suggest going to a dermatoloigist.

  4. try rubbing alcohol 1st for abt a week ( clear white bottle will most deff save u loads of money) and see if it improves and if and u using lotion use baby lotion.

  5. Wouldn’t hurt to make an appointment with your dermatologist. You could try using antibacterial soap like Dial. Alcohol will also help. They make a Proactiv Product that is for body acne. Drug Store might have them as well.

  6. Try Neutrogena Acne Body wash (specifically made for body acne). And also exfoliate (do not use Apricot scrub, it is too harsh), use something like Clean & Clear Pore Cleanser, it has microscubbers so it is not too harsh and actually opens up the spores. Also use only really light lotion. Or instead use a bodywash like Dove and not use a lotion at all.

Try drinking more water and soymilk (really good for your skin). Also eat hard cheese and an avacado about twice a week.

If all else fails, ask your doctor for a prescription for antibiotics.

  7. The formation of acne in adulthood starts with the shedding of epidermal cells. The flakes (skin cells) shed by the epidermis then clog up the skin’s pores. Meanwhile, sebum (oil) produced by the oil glands in the skin, which should, ideally, be released through these pores. Since the pores are clogged, the oil builds up under the skin, creating the perfect environment for bacteria to growth.

Although there are different variations of acne, chest acne seems to be very common between men and women. Of the many internal factors including hormones, genetics, and medications another major contributory factor in chest acne is tight fitted clothing. Tight fitted clothing traps the sweat between the fabric and the skin; which leads to clogging of pours and ultimately acne. Therefore, to avoid perspiration from becoming trapped, you should wear clothing made from cotton which allows more air circulation and evaporation of the trapped sweat. you can use ClearPores Skin Cleansing System

  8. do not waste money on over the counter products. go to your doctor get antibiotics like doxycycline.

  9. dont use scrubs. all it does is scratch them off causing markings on you that look like cuts AND pimples. and it spreads around the bacteria. use a cloth instead, NO SOAP! soap makes it worse. get teatree oil or teatree oil wash and just rub the area for a few minutes in the shower but out of the water a day. DONT PICK !
