Blackhead-related question?

Okayy, I'm a guy with light-moderately severe acne. Recently, its gotten worsee and I'm trying to find out why.

If you see a blackhead surface (to the point where you can just lightly scrape it off with your finger), should you take it off? Cuz I'm paranoid that the resulting pores are causing acne.

  1. Don’t mess with black heads until you’re ready to go to bed. Then dig those suckers out. Get right up in the mirror and squeeze out every black head that you can possible see. The process is more likely to irritate your skin – that’s why I said wait until night, when you’re not going out and interacting for a good long while.

One thing to remember though. Wash your hands before you start messing with your face (popping a pimple and such). And wash your hands and face afterwards. Use Noxzema or Clearasil or something, but wash it every night and morning.

I know they tell you not to pop zits or pick at black heads. But trust me, you need to. The first thing to do is using facial cleanser regularly, but going around with zits and such just hanging off of you is as disgusting as walking around with an inch long stream of buggers hanging out of your noes.

Having a problem with acne is nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of people suffer from that. But you need to take care of it.

I use to use the backside of a bobby pin to pop pimples and blackheads, and of course a needle. If you see anything to make you think that you could get puss out of a pimple – go to the bathroom (right away) – pop it into a napkin – and throw it away. The same goes for a black head, but you need to be a bit more cautious about them, like I said.

  2. Find an exfoliating cleanser

  3. Accutane can change your life. It really works great, you just have to put up with a few months of bad acne.
