best way to get rid of acne scars/hyperpigmentation for fair skin?
Ok well I have these hideous places on my face that are red and purple in color. I know that they will fade within 6-24 months but what is the best method to get rid of the problem for my skin type? Medication, treatment, home remedies, anything will be helpful at this point, I just want it to get better.
Oh I'm currently using proactiv only at night because it dries my skin out a lot and I always put moisturizer with spf 15 on day and night.

on the really tough scars put toothpaste on them at night, and rub this off in the morning. They should go in a few months, even weeks. Other than that, use facial wash every morning and night but make sure you wash it out completely. Also, use facial cream after you’ve washed your face in the morning to soften the scars and so make them less noticeable before they go. Hope this helps.

proactiv might actually be too harsh for your skin and you may be aggravating it. i would try a more gentle cleanser and use a higher spf. maybe 30 or 45. neutrogena helioplex is suppose to be good. try not to pick at your bumps because you can get bacteria back in your face which will lead to more bumps. you might check out makeupartistschoice.com. they have chemical peels that can decrease discoloration from acne and sun. they have great customer service if you call and ask their opinion. good luck
