best facial cleanser/anti acne?
I've tried lots of stuff that claimed it was "the #1 product" I need a great daily cleanser that isn't too harsh on the skin that will help keep acne and blackheads away. My skin isn't horrible, just some clogged pores and 1-2 zits but i want nice, smooth clean skin. please don't recommend proactiv or any over-priced crap. been there done that.
the reason i said don't tell me to use proactiv is because i've already tried it 4-5 times and it made my skin WORSE. it's not because im totally cheap

I like Neutrogena Rapid Clear.
It is affordable, gets your skin SUPER clean, removes all the make up you have on (including eye makeup), and leaves your skin soft.
I guess it depends on your skin type, but this makes my skin smooth, and clean-feeling afterwards.

i use acne-free and for me it works wonders and costs half the price proactiv does.

get a facial, and then go back when they tell you to to keep it up

Neutrogena has a very good line of anti-acne products including the daily facial cleanser which isn’t harsh at all but really works well.

You should try clean and clear deep action cream cleanser. it works great. and its only a few bucks. It also doesnt dry out your skin which is a plus. but if you just want a zit zapper, then the burts beez blemish stick works great.

If you dont want to pay the money for the quality stuff that works then you’ll have to go with the cheapest solution possible (and the one that works the best).
Dont yell at me for this because you’re the one who’s like "dont offer my proactive or anything high priced because i wont buy it." and all the other stuff doesnt work sooooo yeah.

I like Cetaphil face soaps, and Clean and Clear Acne Control Spot Treatment. It works really well if you wash your face every morning and night, and put the Clean and Clear stuff on after you wash your face at night.
Best of luck!

i just started using this skincare line called epionce….. its hard to find if you go to the website it will give u the address to its nearest retailer according to your zipcode….
more expensive makeup also helps :-) i just stared using Lancome a few weeks ago and its way better than what i had been using and i even put it on with what is basically a paint brush which i think makes a big difference as well……

There are two great ones for this that i have personally tried; Clean&Clear and SeaBreeze, both of which are daily cleansers that work well. They arent too expensive either, they’ll run you 2-3 bucks, and you can get it at any Walgreens or CVS.

Try Spectro Jel. Its dermatologist recommended and I used it as well. It made my face less oily which helped preventing acne. But then again, we have different skin types so yeah. Also to help make pimples go away, use Clinque’s acne removal cream. Oh yes, try Biore’s acne strips that removes pores. If your acne is red, put ice on it for a couple of minutes to reduce the swelling. Everyone has different skin types so the results differ. But these really helped for me. Aso, try changing acne creams monthly because your skin will get used to it eventually and it will no longer have the same effects then the first few times. =)

i rotate between clearisil and neutrogena… my skin gets used to one and when i finish a container of one then i switch to the other… it works really well except towards the end of a container…

if its not too bad,
just a few blackheads here and there,
you should reali try them beauty skin centres and get a facial
(japanese or korean beauty salons are real pro.)
i mean they are not cheap, but some places can get your skin to that super smooth clean skin ness
its because most products are more useful at preventing further damage. most blackheads are not gonna go away from products.
just like 2 visits and your skin should be smooth as a babies butt. ^O^

Arbonne for me.. tried over the counter & others.. clear advantage has the right salicic acid for me. go to arbonne.com look for "clear advantage".. the price is about 8$ each for cleanser, toner & moisturizer . what i like is that each product has 1% salicic acid vs OTC up to 3% which is too much.

take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i’ve used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. only it doesn’t dry your face out like pro active does.. and it’s a lot cheaper..
another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it’s sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. and i do it about three times a week..
only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..
warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..
also you may want to get a good toner and moisturizer.. not astringent because it contains a ton of alcohol and is rough on your skin.. and watch the make up you use.. a mineral make up is much better for your skin.. it doesn’t clog your pores or cause breakouts..
drink lots of water.. eat healthy.. and take vitamin e, vitamin c, zinc and b vitamins..
i hope this helps..

I too have had to battle hormones and they suck… Using different products can become costly as well. I have tried one of the Avon products called ANEW 2 in 1 Retro active. I recommend giving it a go.
Just remember that all skin types differ.

I have very reactive skin also. I have done a lot of research and what keeps coming up is the need to use facial cleansers that DO NOT have perfumes or high alcohol & oil contents.
I’m not sure what country you’re in, but here in Australia I use a brand called "Simple". They have cleansers, toners & moisturisers that are oil, perfume and alcohol free. I use their Cleansing Mousse. My skin has never looked better.
Just make sure you always moisturise straight after you wash your face so as not to let your face dry out, as this will cause your face to over-produce oils. Always go to bed with a clean, moisturised face.
