Back and Chest acne ???????????????

Okay so im 14, a girl, in 8th grade. I have terrible back acne. Like I have millions of little ones everywhere on my back and about 10 really huge ones. Its just nasty, and my back is all red where they are. As for chest acne, its not nearly as bad. only little ones and not TOO many. So im graduating on June 25 and my grad dress has no back, so i NEED the zits gone by then. What can i do to clear them up?? And i really dont want them for the summer cause then i wont be able to wear bathing suits or tank tops :( So yeah, what product or just WHAT will clear up my back and chest?? (oh and my face is perfectly clear, like i only have 2 or 3 little zits right now) Thannks!!!!!!!!!

  1. Fresh lemons are good for acne. They’re a natural bleach and will lessen the appearance of scars, as well. Get your mom or dad to put fresh slices of lemon on your back for several minutes to clear it up.

Also, grab a lot of alcohol pads. Acne occurs in the presence of excess oil and dirt which can be cleared away by drying out the skin. Use these pads all over the affected areas several times a day and you should see results.

Stay away from greasy foods. If you eat meat eat only lean meats that are grilled or baked. Avoid all oils, especially those that are solid at room temperature: butter, peanut butter, mayonaise, etc.
Good luck with your graduation! I hope this helps!

  2. Spread alcohol on them ALLLLLL over.

  3. Try St. Ives Apricot scrub (you can buy the generic version too). I used to work in cosmetics at Walgreens and thats what I recommended for everyone. It worked really well for me when I had some acne on my chest. The exfoliant in the scrub helps scrub away the bacteria that causes acne and will help get rid of what you have. It’s best to put some on a loofa and gently scrub your skin. To use it on your back you could use one of those loofas that have a handle so you will be able to reach your back.

Hope this works!! It worked for me and for everyone I’ve recommended it for!! :)

  4. Please get the book Breaking Out by Lydia Preston. I have had acne and this book was such an invaluable source of information I just keep recommending it to everyone who suffers from acne. There are over-the-counter medications that may help you, such as benzoyl peroxide gels and creams, but there are also many prescription medications that will probably work quicker to cure your acne. I suggest you get the book and read up, and then make an appointment with your doctor to get some prescription treatment. If your doctor is unhelpful then ask for a referral to a dermatologist.

Using granular scrubs on acne does not "scrub away the bacteria"! Granular scrubs are not recommended for acne. Alcohol is also a bad idea. Alcohol will remove the water from your skin (not a good thing) but will not help with the oil, or kill the p. acnes bacteria that live deep in your pores.

The Paula’s Choice acne range is excellent.

  5. I used to have a slight problem like that on the back of my arms… I started using a product I bought at cvs …i think Clearasil or one of those famous well known acne free brands make a special body scrub… it helped me… so go to ur local store and search through those acne body washes. Hope this helps :)
