Back acne problems, any tips?

I've noticed throughout the years that when my hair is long, i breakout on my back with acne and blackheads. But, when my hair is short and doesn't touch my back, it's all clear. So, I know the problem is definitely my hair. But, it's not at all oily and I wash it with salon shampoo and conditioner. Should I see the dermatologist about this? any tips? PS. i love my long hair and will not cut if just for this problem.

  1. I had the same problem cuz my hair is down to my lower back but i wouldn’t cut it. i knew it wasn’t anything horrible so i started putting Benzoyl Peroxide Gel on it and within about a week cleared up completely Try it and if it doesn’t work then you might want to get see a dermatologist.

  2. BURDOCH AND CHICKWEED

i’ll swear by my first born child!!!!!

this is amazing and natural just ask at herbal store/chemet for burdoch and chickweed cream.

makes it go away in irrritation no acid or burn just smooth gorgeous skin

  3. I had this very same problem when I had long hair. I bought one of those loofah’s that’s attached to a stick, as its made especially to wash your back; then I washed my back with Acne facewash everyday in the shower, and made sure to rinse with a little colder water afterwards [helps close your pores so less dirt gets in]. It worked like a charm for me and I had super thick hair down to my bum.

  4. i went to the dermatologist and he gave me "clarifoam ef" it works!

  5. The Nutrogena acne body wash is extremely helpful. I had a very similar problem when I was in my mid teens to early adulthood. It isn’t expensive at all. While it is hot out, I would keep your hair up in a bun or pony tail. Perhaps you are sensitive to the shampoo you use, especially if is very fragrant. I would try baby shampoo and conditioner for a while, too, and see if that makes a difference.

  6. I use to have the exact same thing. I just use my pad cleansers I use for my face and just put it on my back (or my toner) when I’m not out I always put my hair up and I take a shower everyday and I use this medicated soap for acne ( you can find it at wal-mart or CVS) And now you wouldn’t even notice I ever had acne there.
