  1. there are literally no products that will prevent acne.
Wash your face 2x a day, (no more) use toner and time to time use exfoliating cream.
Stress -> acne is often caused by overproduction of oil, try to get those oil controlling pads.
at times like this is wise to avoid makeup much as possible.

  2. well i had very bad acne and what i did is buy a dove gentle exfoliator…….then every other night i would put on clearasil vanishing cream…and only wash my face in cold water….also Almay makeup works good to let the skin breath……i know this is a lot…….but it actually works……even just cold water and clearasil (4.00) works…but only put it on every other night cuz ur skin gets dry if you use it too much…….good luck

  3. I’ve been there. I had a huge acne problem when I was younger (I’m now 37). Forget about acne products! I used to use them, but they just dry out your skin and make the problem worse. Instead, be very gentle to your skin – it will make it easier for your skin to heal itself instead of causing more damage by drying it out with harsh chemicals. Here are some things you could try:

    1. Avoid sugar (all sugar) … as much as you can
    2. Get enough calcium in your diet
    3. Make sure you are properly hydrated (helps your liver eliminate toxins in your system).
    4. Use only fragrance free products (I use liquid Neutrogena fragrance free glycerine soap).
    5. Use an oil free moisterizer (no fragrance!)
    6. Use only alcohol free toners (the others are too harsh)
    7. Do not pick at your face – It will cause infection and scarring and take longer to heal.
    8. Try a gentle buff puff – but don’t scrub too hard
    9. I don’t use powder on my face because it just gunks it up and blocks the pores. Instead, I use Clean and Clear oil blotters (the blue one’s).

Try these things for at least a month and you should see some improvement. If not, then consider seeing a dermatoligist.

  4. the biore pore minimizer works so well. leave it on over night and put more on in the morning.
