Acne scars..maybe lazer surgury?

Hello, i'm 17/male and I have about 10 pitted scars total. I also have blemishes which really look bad on the side of my cheek. Will they fade over time? If so, how long will that take? Also, would you suggest lazer treatment, and would 1 single lazer treatment be enough? Or at least help them fade away more and faster? Anything I can do at home to help them go away. (Not home remedies, I mean like should I scrub with hot water to remove dead skin cells or something like that.)

  1. I have never had laser surgery but I’ve perused this website http://www.makemeheal.com (message board) and there were several former patients who’d received laser and were Not happy with the results. They wished that they had not gone thru with that in addition to Not getting microdermabrasion. Perhaps you can talk with a board-certified dermatologist about a medium depth (tca) chemical peel albeit it does have about a week downtime of not being able to go out in public due to peeling process.

  2. I don’t know if this counts as a remedie, but this is a proven by many people to work. By a a bottle of Vitamin E soft gels, take a knife, cut one of the vitamins open, and spread the gel onto the acne and or acne scars. Vitamin E is very good for your skin. You can swallow the pills to help prevent future acne from appearing.

  3. yes, they will likely to fade over time, but it will take very long..

I don’t think dermatologists will let you have one single treatment.. and also, it wouldn’t be enough.. it would likely to risk some damage in your skin if it is not finished.

There had been sayings about emu oil.. I am not sure, I am just about to use it because I have no enough money for laser treatment. But emu oil as reviewed worked very great for acne scars.

But then, laser treatment would be your first and last effective choice.

    goodluck

also, take vitamins (vit e and vit a) and also drink lots and lots of water.. you know when you drank too much, just enough for your body

  4. IDK?
Im a female and went to Clineque at the mall for facial washing products.
But washing your face every night might help over time.
I had blemishes on my cheek once and i washed my face every night with my soaps and now theyre gone!
(But i had the blemishes over the summer!)

  5. I used to have an acne before and it really makes me inferior every time. I tried many products in market but no use. It will take time for the acne to heal fully, at least in my case it takes time (more than 6 months). Thanks for Anna one of my friend who recommend me Zenmed scar treatment and it works fine. Thanks Zenmed for such a quality product. I am very please with the results of the products (Zenmed Scar Treatment).
