ACNE, SCARS, ETC. PLEASE HELP?
I'm a 21 year old female, and I have pimple scars all around my chin, side of my face, and some on my forehead. I don't get much pimples anymore, maybe one or two a month, but I still have the scars from when I was much younger. I touched them alot, and picked at them, and now i'm left with a mangled face.
I've tried everything out there, absaloutely EVERY over-the-counter product, i've tried perscription pills, cream, etc. I've spent tons of money trying everything out there, and I even tried home remedies. Nothing has worked. I am also fair skinned, so it shows on my face even worse.
It's a huge self-esteem issue, I have no social life what so ever. I don't go out at all anymore, and i'm extremely shy at school, and at work because I just don't want to get noticed, I don't want people to look at me and see my face. I've gained weight because of this. I stopped taking care of my weight because my face is just so horrible that I started having the mind set that my face is so horrible, so why should I keep caring about the rest of me.
A good friend of mine had the same problem, tried everything, gained weight, all the same as me. Her parents sent her to a plastic surgery clinic finally, and they did a acne scar removal treatment on her face, and now her skin is FLAWLESS, she doesn't need to pound on make-up at all anymore. It's so beautiful. It cost around 00.
I went to a dermo, and she told me that the 00 procedure is the only thing gaurenteed to work now. I've tried everything and there's nothing else she can give me. Problem is, I don't have the money. I'm not as wealthy as my friends family, and I don't have anyone willing to help me out.
How can I get this procedure done at no cost, or little? I just want my life back, my friends, social life, I don't wanna hide anymore. I need help.
BTW I live in Ontario, Canada. (GTA)

Unfortunately your doctor was right that is the only really proven treatment so far
