Acne problems in late teen years, what can I do?
I'm 19 years old, and I always had a bit of an acne problem, mostly around my neck and chin. I always thought that I would eventually grow out of it, but it has ceased to stop. It's very much a burden upon me and these kinds of things put a person down. Does anyone know of any ways to help fight off acne i.e. whiteheads, blackheads etc. and if there's ways to help prevent it like washing your face daily or maybe a diet change.
Your help would be MUCH appreciated. As I am at wits end.

Zit Prevention Plan
Preventing zits…Steps to stop the eruptions
Here are some tips on reducing and preventing zits. But remember, even if you practice good hygiene and have healthy eating habits, chances are you’ll break out at some point. It’s normal.
1. Wash
Wash your skin morning and night with a gentle cleanser that cleans your pores without drying your skin (don’t use grainy, harsh scrubs since these can actually cause acne).
2. T-zone
Some areas of your face, like your forehead, nose, and chin (often called the T-zone because it’s shaped like the letter T) might be oilier than the rest of your face. So treat it differently: wash it with a non-oily cleanser.
3. Water
Drink a lot of water. It helps flush away impurities.
4. Foods
Although foods cannot cause zits, some people find that what they eat affects their skin. So say hello to healthy food, like fresh fruit and veggie snacks and see-you-later to chocolate and greasy foods like french fries and buttered popcorn. If you think you get zits after eating certain foods, keep a list and avoid eating too much of them or eating them at all.
5. Relax!
Anxiety and stress can cause the adrenal glands to make more hormones, which can cause zits to suddenly pop up. You have a lot going on in your life, but try to take time out for a walk or yoga or whatever works for you.

also i recommend you buy a bottle of tea tree oil [it works trust me there was a big improvement in my acne the the first time i used it. you can buy it at CVS or Wal Mart or Walgreens. you put it on a cotton ball or cotton pad and put a thin layer of it on your face. (you may feel a tingling sensation on your face for up to a minute or half a minute [first couple times] ) and it’s cheaper than spending $30.00 plus shipping and handling on proactive

Go to your dermatologist and ask them for some medication or ointments.

I’m thinking you have acne because of oily skin(you could also get acne if you have a dandruff problem). For oily skin cut a wedge of lemon and rub it all over your face and neck. This not only dries out your skin but lightens blemishes that occur as a result of acne. When your done rubbing the lemon on your face, wash it off immediately and put on some moisturizer as lemon tends to dry out the skin quite a lot. This should help.Drink lots of water(that makes the skin glow)and eat fruit like papaya(I know it tastes terrible).Another thing, try rubbing mashed papaya on your face, that helps soothe acne too. Then wash it off in about 15 mins.:)

I use Roaaccutane and it works real good:
One word my friend…Roaccutane!
I have had bad acne for many many years and trust me it was a real pain for me…i hated it terribly!
I have been on MANY products such as proactiv(which when you finsih using it brings out the pimples worst), neatrogena, clearasil, ambi and many more!
None of them worked for me beause when i finished using the proactiv which was a waste of my momey the pimples came back out soooooo much worst than it was in the beginning!
I went to my dermatologist last month and he introduced me to Roaccutane. I decided to use it, and i am NOT dissapointed at all with the excellent results that I have.
I have been using it for a month so far and within the first 2 days i had seen results..the pimples were disappearing(thats what we all want right?)
I am still using it because I have to complete my year.
The best part of it is that it is a tablet that you take. Its not a soap or a toner or a 4-5 step procedure that gets on your nerve..just one little tablet.
Its easy and stress free and best of all…Brings results!
You willl not be dissapointed if you try this product.
This product is only available through perscription by a dermatologist.
Use it and see for yourself!
