  1. i had acne and when i went away like to a beach or somewhere it cleared up too, my mom said that its the salt water from beaches… And i think that really is what it is… Try washing your face with some sea salts k :)

  2. it might be brought on by stress. maybe try relaxing a little bit more. i use the neutrogena wave, it works awesome! my skin is clear and smooth. try that. if nothing else is working try talking to a dermatologist and they should get you a medication or treatment to help your skin. whatever you do dont pick or pop the acne. it will just leave scars.

  3. well it goes away when ur not in boston so u could move??

  4. You could try seeing a dermatologist. Or look up ways to reduce stress (ex. yoga or something). Perhaps it is ur diet. Also sunshine can reduce the appearance of acne temporarily, but in the long run it makes acne worse, so stay out of the sun or at least wear sunscreen. I’m not into the natural remedies, I use the Spectro Acne Care system.

    Long winded answer:

What is acne? The simple answer is clogged pores. Your skin has very tiny holes (called pores) that are used to expell substances from the body, such as oil and sweat and such. A pimple is formed when these pores become clogged due to a build up of dead cells, bacteria, oil, etc. Proper skin care removes these clogs and prevents them from forming again. Acne has multiple causes and it takes 3-4 weeks for new skin cells/pimples to develop (so it takes this long for an acne treatment to work).

Poor Diet. The skin is the body’s largest ORGAN and when you put bad stuff in ur body, it is reflected by all ur organs, especially ur skin. Drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits/vegetables and switch to whole grains (ex. brown bread, brown rice). REALLY lower your intake of salty or sugary foods, this means NO junk food (no chocolate bars, no soda, no fast food, etc.).

Poor Skin Care. You need 3-4 products to rid urself of acne and must use them in the following order. Do this 1-2 times a day (ex. morning and night), no more and no less.
    1. Cleanser (a jel or scrub). Wet your hands and face, lather up the product in ur hands, GENTLY rub in CIRCULAR motions with ur FINGERTIPS all over ur face. Rinse off with water and PAT ur face dry with a CLEAN towel.
    2. Toner. Use the pre-soaked pads or squirt some toner on a cotton pad and very gently wipe ur entire face with it. It is VERY important to ALWAYS tone after washing.
    3. Treatment (Optional). Some lineups offer a cream heavy in ingredients that kill the bacteria causing acne, such as salicylic acid.
    4. Moisturizer. Regardless of ur skin type, moisturizing is VERY important. Pick a moisturizer that is oil free, non-comedogenic (this means it won’t clog pores and won’t cause acne, if you wear make up such as blush or concealer, MAKE SURE IT IS non-comedogenic!).
—-> I reccomend the Spectro Acne Care line up as it cured my acne and has all 4 of the products I mentioned above.

Other Causes. Stress is a cause, so do what you can to reduce it. Touching ur skin with ANYTHING, even ur hands, is BAD! The friction from rubbing ur skin irritates it and causes acne flare ups, not to mention the bacteria ur introducing to ur skin and pores. The golden rule, do NOT EVER touch ur face or other areas affected by acne. This means no resting ur chin on ur hands and no tucking the phone between ur ear/face and neck. Exercise can help with acne, as long as you wash up afterwards and don’t let the sweat remain on ur skin. Exercise releases good chemicals in ur body (ex. it can help with stress/anxiety) and opens/clears ur pores. Try doing morning stretches?
