Acne problem!! Help? Please.?
I am 22. Never had acne before, maybe 1 or 2 individual pimples here and there, but never anything to worry about. For about the past 6 months, I have had this horrible routine of about 2 weeks of completely clear skin, and then 2 weeks of some of the most painful and terrible looking acne only in the lower portion of my face from about the bottom of my nose down to my chin... completely clear above that. I am doing nothing differently than I have my whole life. I am on the birth control pill ortho 7/7/7, but I have been on it for quite some time... much longer than I have been experiencing this acne problem.
My question... I have tried several different types of acne medicine such as on-the-spot treatments, various face washes, and masks. I have tried different water temps, washing several times a day, and I have also tried not washing so much. NOTHING HELPS! For two weeks, my face is extremely painful to touch and looks awful. It's embarrassing, and I notice a huge downward slope in my self esteem. I was thinking about trying Proactiv or SkinID, but I know you have to use it constantly or the acne comes back, and since I only have problems about every 2 weeks, I didn't know if this was a good idea. If anyone has tried either of these or has ANY advice of any other products, I would really appreciate all the help I can get.

here are some great tips for u
Wash your face twice a day with Neutrogena Acne Face Wash.
Try natural products. That will even out skin tone. Go to an Indian store and ask for "Multani Mihti"
Apply it on your face it’ll work like a charm
Until your acne begins to go away, use bare minerals makeup. Perhaps the make up you are currently using is bad and reacting with your skin.
Dont stress and get plenty of vitamins and sleep. No sugary snacks, that might be the case as well.

NO proactiv my dad used that and well haha didn’t work && Skin ID is wayy too expensive. For me i use clean & Clear products like the Morning Burst Facial Cleanser && the Advantae Acne On the Spot Treatment (use this little because it burns if yoo use a lot) i have smooth & almost flawless skin on the lower portion of my face because i drink water & i eat lots of veggies especially tomatoes. i also use Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily moisturizer cause it moisterizes my skin and prevents break outs. Rmr not to use so many products because it only makes the skin worse. okie i hope i helped yoo in any way :P

I used proactiv. I really liked it. You do need to use it all the time to prevent acne scaring. If that does not work it would be good to go to a dermatologist. Best Wishes for healthy skin to come.

Hi truly yours.
:)
Want some advices for acne treatment? ACtually, there are a lot things before using an acne product..you say that you’ve try different pruducts such as Proactiv and SkinID.. Remember, acne treatments are divided into three categories: topical, systemic, and procedural. The course of treatment is determined by the type and severity of acne.
Knowing your grade of acne will help you choose the most effective treatment plan. Grade I and Grade II (mild to moderate acne) can often be treated with over-the-counter products. A dermatologist must treat Grade III and Grade IV (moderately severe to severe, or cystic acne).
It’s common to try several treatments before finding the one that works for you. Try not to get discouraged. And remember, with any acne treatment or therapy, consistency is key to a successful outcome.
But,if after careful and consistent treatment at home, your acne isn’t improving or seems to be worsening, you should contact your doctor. Your dermatologist may prescribe acne mediations, and will have helpful advice regarding proper acne skin care and home treatment.if you did all the things to do for treating your acne, you should see.
I hope it helped
=)
