Get your parents to buy you Proactive at the mall. You can get a 2 month supply for about $48. I only use it once a day, instead of twice, so it lasts even longer. You’ll be shocked how well it works in just a matter of days. I’ve spent a lot of $ going to the dermatologists and it wasn’t nearly as effective as this over the counter stuff. Ask family to get it for you, to try. It can’t hurt to try once, right? I only wish I had this stuff when I was young like you!

Try those blackhead strips. They’re probably more noticable to you though, use a good hypoallergenic face powder (CoverGirl Clean is good and cheap too) and it should cover them right up as well as absorb the excess oil from your face.

Hi, acne is very common and can also be frustrating as well. I like to use cucumbers on my face as a toner and it does help with my blackheads and pimples.

If you can’t afford proactive try Neutrogena Advanced Solutions, it has worked very well for me. The kit lasts for about a month and a half an costs $22 and you can get it at Walmart and other places like that. I have tried another acne solution before that was said to be similar to Proactive and it didn’t work very well, but the Neutrogena did. Give it a try, I like it. Everyone’s skins is different so you might need to find something that works for you.

i feel your pain. I had a major acne prob on my forehead, and still do a little bit, but i’ve drastically improved throughout the last couple of days…i’ve been putting a hot wash cloth with a ton of steam gently on my face, and i think it makes em look less red, opens your pores, and makes em look smaller ((after this, put medication on, so it can sink in better, than put cold water on it, so your pores will close to block out dirt better)) You might also want to try putting toothpaste on your big zits, although it dries out your skin, so dont put big clumps of it everywhere. Also, the MAIN thing i really know helps, is to no touch them! i know you’ve heard that tons of times, but seriously! i know its like extremely temptimg, but you’ll feel SO much better. If they are huge and you NEEd to pop them, use a needle, and gently pop the top of it where the white stuff is and then wash your face again. Also i would expirement with different acne meds. Different people react to different types of medications. i would try ProActive, because I’ve heard from many people that it works wonders. But if it doesn’t work for you, try some others.
hope that helps!

proactive is just the same as oxy or other products that costs as less as 10 dollars! they all have the same ingredient: 10% benzoyl peroxide. i use oxy and your doctor is RIGHT. you have to wash your face twice or more each day but not too roughly.

raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
to open the pores and loosen dirt and grease from your face turn off the heat from a pan of distilled water, add 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to a quart of the hot water. drape a towel over the pan and your head to steam clean your pores. take a cotton ball, dip in vinegar and pat over skin to remove loosened dirt. repeat 2 more times. then spray or dab on
chilled vinegar and equal part of distilled water to close your pores and tone your skin. do twice weekly, also can use the chilled vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily.
it is amazing ….
i also drink the vinegar, 1-2 tablespoons in water with honey in the morning..and i use the vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily..
raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."
to drink, add to water and honey, or to apple juice.
you can get the vinegar at the health food store, or in some super markets.
