i used to really struggle with acne so i feel your pain :( i tried EVERYTHING but what worked for me is birth control, which really won’t help guys…lol. Try acutane if its really bothering you. you have to have a doctor recommend it, and its a really intense drug, but everyone ive talked to said they would do it again in a heartbeat! they make you get blood drawn once a month because it messes up pregnancies (unfortunately even the guys need to get blood drawn) but the treatment lasts about 5 months and your skin will be beautiful! good luck!!!

lol put pimples and zits on your avatar then!!!!!

Whatever you do dont pick them or pop the zits because then they leave scars. you think just dealing with little pimples in your teen yrs is hard? try living with scars for the rest of your life

I feel your pain, friend. I get acne almost everywhere on my body, not just my face. The important thing to remember is never pop your zits. My dad is always telling me to not to do it. Just use a lot of zit cream and your acne will go away in no time.

I had this same problem and my dermatologist put me on something called ‘Bactrim’. It’s like an antibiotic and killed the bacteria in my skin. I never had a pimple since about 2 weeks after starting on it. Also – taking roaccutaine will help acne but that is in extreme cases. Try another dermatologist and keep trying until one helps you. It’s worth it for the final outcome. My friend went to 3 dermatologists before one helped her. The others just said ‘it’s normal and you’ll grow out of it’.. but that does not help you when you’re embarassed to go out in the daylight. Just keep trying until someone helps you with medication.
Good luck.

Getting some sun can be good for your skin, just be careful avoid burns.
In addition to the medication, washing your face, drinking water & sun, you might try these things:
Change your pillowcase more often (or if the acne is all over, change all your sheets). There are oils, dirt and bacteria on sheets, so if you change your sheets more regularly, you should see a difference. (I bought extra pillowcases, change them every other day, and it’s been great!)
Also, you might want to start moisturizing your skin after washing–because when you wash you not only wash the dirt and bacteria, but you wash the oils, and that can irritate and dry your skin. Moisturizing will help heal your skin and during the day, your skin will be able to keep out the dirt better if its moisturized. (I have a friend who found a lot of luck with Mary Kay products, and using foundation as a barrier between her skin and the dirt, but I think it costs too much. But she swears by it.)

i have the same problem…but i dont care now becausei have beautiful features so don’t care about pimples. but i did use amost EVERYTHING to get rid of this problem but at last i found ( clinique acne solution) its kit and it really worked.. within a week all my pimples were recovering. but i have to wash it 2 times a day. but my problem is whenever my face gets clean i get lazy and stop washing my face 2 times a day..then pimples comes again. so i have to make sure i am using this product 2 times a day. other then that..drink lots of water, eat veg., less oily food, excersie. this is what i do and so far my skin in fine.

Try this:
Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn’t matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.
Get good sleep. Stress increases your skin’s oiliness, which, combined with sweat and dirt, can clog pores and cause pimples. (Change your pillowcase frequently.)
◦Drink plenty of water. Staying well hydrated can help your condition improve, because the "waste management" control system in your body requires a lot of water to do its job. Without enough water, the body has difficulty removing some waste products efficiently.
◦Look for face washes which contain the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. This is the key ingredient in some of the best face washes. use a 5-10% benzoyl peroxide of mild to moderate acne and 10% for severe.
◦Try smashing one tablet of aspirin in a small bowl, then adding lemon juice to the mixture. Aspirin is acetesalicylic acid, chemically related to salicylic acid. Apply to the affected areas overnight. It boosts the healing process while reducing redness.
◦Dab garlic juice on emerging and mature pimples
◦Treat acne with benzoyl peroxide that are available in your local stores
◦Disguise a pimple with eye-redness relieve eye drops by applying to a Q-tip and hold on pimple for about 10-15 seconds.
•The best solution is to see a dermatologist. They know what they’re doing. All they do is look at your acne and order some medicine for it then you must buy it and the acne disappears within a week.
•After using any of the above-recommended acne medications (benzoyl peroxide, etc.), be sure to apply a gentle moisturizer over it in case you have sensitive skin.
STOP popping the spots, also known as pimples and zits. This may make the pimple look worse due to inflammation and irritation. Popping a zit can spread infection under the skin and produce even more pimples than before. If you do pop a spot then immediately clean it with soap and water or rubbing alcohol in order to prevent infection. If a pimple erupts in a particularly bothersome place, learn how to target a single pimple. And if you’re determined to pop, learn how to pop a pimple safely and properly. If you do pop a pimple and you want to avoid anything resembling Western medicine, one thing to try is put a mixture of honey and ground cinnamon on the spot. Put a band-aid on it also. You may also want to stay away from stress.
