Acne and Dry skin??????
Hello everyone.
I'm an 18 year old guy with some mild acne, and a dry skin. I tried many products like Maxclarity, ProActive, Tetracycline, and many other less effective treatments. Nothing really helped. So my question is, well actually i got few questions. They are:
1. How can I prevent my skin from getting dry? Like what creams or treatments I can use.
2. How can I actually get rid of Acne? Some examples of your home remedies or treatments you used.
3. How can I make acne less noticeable?
Also maybe I should try Acutane or Ibuprofen for acne? Thanks everyone for your help!

No accutane. No ibuprofen (what?? I’ve never heard of that). What I ABSOLUTELY recommend, and use, is the "CLEAR Anti-Acne System" skin care line from Paulaschoice.com. It works beautifully to clear up acne and prevent it, as well as getting rid of blackheads. It’s far superior to ProActiv, or any of those other “complete” lines for acne treatment. It doesn’t irritate your skin (those lines often do) and it is better-researched. It is gentle enough for your dry skin and will help it to regain its moisture. I’m giving you the link to the combination of products for "Normal to Dry Skin Prone to Acne" —> http://www.paulaschoice.com/category/normal-to-dry-skin-prone-to-acne
Read about it, it says that a lot of research went into the formulation.
If it’s too expensive for you, go to Beautypedia.com (it’s free to the public January-February without a subscription) and look up "Paula’s Pick" best acne-clearing products. There are many drugstore brands on the list. You’ll want a cleanser, light moisturizer, and a zit treatment cream/gel:
Here’s the Beautypedia page —> http://www.beautypedia.com/BestProducts.aspx
One note – - If you click on the link on the home page of Beautypedia that says something about shopping Paula’s Choice products, it’ll take you to Paulaschoice.com and automatically activate a code for *free shipping*. Only do this if you are definitely going to buy something at that moment, because it only activates it once from that computer (or you could just go on a different computer and it’ll activate it again like you’re a different person…) Anyway, it’s good.

I use biore it works extremley well, also my brother and sister use it. I have dry sensitive skin they have oily or combination skin. If you do try biore get the toner or astringent, pore unclogging scrub, blemish fighting ice cleanser and use in that order. And they all cost under 6 dollars really affordable. Home remidies I have tried that do work: 1. Egg whites closes pores and prevents blackheads leave it on for 20 mins. Rinse with cool water. 2. Apply fresh lime juice mixed with a half glass of boiled milk for treating pimples, blackheads and cracked skin.
3. Mint grind into a paste can reduce redness also baking soda it can be used as an exfoliant. 4. Washing your face with brown sugar or white. The garlic one I have not tried. 5.Garlic has been used profitably to heal acne. Massage with raw garlic several times a day. Garlic is known to have cured the toughest of acne difficulty. The outside use of garlic helps to clear the skin of spots, pimples and boils. Acne can more be cured by intake of three seeds of raw garlic once on a daily basis for a month. This purifies the blood stream and ensures basic purification of blood keeping acne away.
And finally it is always important to moisturize after washing your face. My favorite product Garnier Moisture Rescue, gives skin a shiny healthy glow.
