  1. This is what I’ve been using, and it’s working so far
-Wash your face night and morning
-Get Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control KIt
-If you still have your wave, don’t use the pads that come with it, just put a little bit of the clean and clear cleanser on it, spred it around, get it a little wet, and use it regularly. I think this gets the medicine better into your skin
-Next, dry your face, and use Neutrogena’s Alcohol Free Toner (or a guess any other toner would work just the same). Put it on a cotton pad thing and put it all over your face.
-Then, use the clean and clear moisturizer (wait for the toner to dry first)
-After, put on Zapzyt gel 10% Benozyl Peroxde (more if your going to sleep, and less if it’s in the morning)
-Always sleep with your hair out of your face. I have long hair, so I put it in a ponytail, then twist it into a bun. Then I use either bobby pins, or a stretchy headband to hold my bangs, and any other hair out of my face. If the bun is uncomfortable to you, then just do a ponytail. And if you have short hair, just the headband will do.
-I have used Apple Cider Vinegar before, and I saw some results if you want to try that, but my mom thought it was wierd, and my sister hated the smell.
    Good Luck!
PS- I know what you feel like, I’m going into 7th too and my skin is nothing like the other people in my grade.
oh and the bumps that are the color of your skin are probably under the skin acne. I’ve heard Tea Tree Oil helps, but I’ve never tried. I want to though- The Body Shop has a Tea Tree Oil line of products, if you want to try it out.
Remember- Be patient and give it time, and stick with one routine for a while, the switching of products makes your skin freak out (lol).
    =]

  2. if you have tried all that and have used it all the right way and its still not working you need to go get a prescription from your doctor.

  3. i dont have bad acne but i find that if you put white colgate toothpaste on a zit before you go to bed when you wake up the next morning its either much much better or gone. a time or two i’ve also put it on while i was in the shower…kinda as a facewash but not really and it helped :) haha but it felt cold idk if you should do that though. just stick with the toothpaste on the spots over night!

  4. If you want to clear it, its going to take time. i used Newtrigena Oil free face wash one a day for 4 months before mine cleared up.

  5. Apply toothpast bvefore you go to bed. and sleep with it..it works trust me1
just a Dab on every bump…
try it, if not i reccomend Neutrogena Acne Stress Control, found at Walmart…
Neutrogena works! its the only face brand i trust!
    goodluck girl!
be Confident it will outshine any pinple you may have!!!!

  6. skin id or proactiv

    i recommend skin id.
    go to skin id.com
    and fill out a survey
they give you acne stuff just for your face

  7. Hahaha… Just eat lotta fruits a day. I mean alot. Sleep early and wash face with just a mild soap.

dont waste ur $ on expensive cleansing stuff lol

  8. try clean and clear..it works for me and my sister

  9. Acne is natural, and it can last for all different periods for different people. It’s nothing to be concerned about in 7th grade…a lot of your peers will still have trouble with it, too.

I think mine cleared up around 8th grade, maybe 7th. My girlfriend’s didn’t clear up until she was in college.

You can try to keep it under control with creams or pads, but the fact is that it won’t "go away" until it’s naturally ready to go away.

Just be patient, exercise, and don’t eat too many unhealthy foods. It’s perfectly normal to have acne in 7th grade, don’t worry.

  10. im going into 7th grade also and i try to use anything that is cheap but never seems to work then i got proactive and it works like M A G I C hahaha email me

  11. try proactiv solutions

  12. Get some medicine prescribed from a dermatologist. If you have oily skin wash your face twice a day, if you don’t then just once–you pick when. Just wash your face with a cleanser (skip the toner, it’s bad.) then put on some of your prescription topical medicine. If it’s really bad then get a pill prescribed as well (cfdenir or tetracyclne is good). Stick with your program though, that’s the most important part. Be patient, acne won’t clear up overnight. Esp. blackheads. I still have them from 4th grade. If you want them gone soon you should ask your dermatologist about that to.

    Hope i helped,
    xoxo

  13. Have you tried a facemask? You can get ones you leave on for 10 minutes and you peel it off, taking all the dead skin and dirt with it, You can also get blackhead cleansing ones.

Failing that just take the simple approach, Find one cleanser and stick to it, wash your face regularly, Aside from that your not going to completely get rid of acne because alot of it is normal teenage hormoanes.

Invest in a decent concealer as well, but dont over use it as this can make spots worse.

  14. I would suggets going to a dermatologist so they can figure out how bad it is and also, they can perscribe medicines depending on the serverity of the problem. Using a prescription medicine for acne can clear it up in no time!! its usually stronger stuff then the over the counter crap!

if you like OTC stuff i suggest: spot treatments( clean andclear), proactive, or face masks!!

spot treatments are a miracle! they can clear a pimple in as little as 1 day!! aloe vera can work too..

  15. i have[had] the same problem.

but i used cleanandclear and i washed my face like 3 times a day

    and now its really clear.

you obviously have to keep washing.

and if that dosent work you have to go to your doctor or a local dermotologist.

they’ll probably give you perscription wash
    or pills
    or something.

  16. i use proactive and its GREAT!
within 24 hours you can start seeing results
go onto proactive.com and buy the 5 piece set (the deluxe set) it takes about a week to be shipped through the mail
    U WILL LOVE PROACTIVE!
    it works great!

  17. I am the same age and my acne NEVER goes away. I use the deep action cream cleanser from clean and clear. It feels really good and I find it very helpful. If it irritates your skin there is a sensitive formula. I also use their morning burst shine control cleanser. My mom is allergic to the lemongrass, but they also make one with gin-sing and vitamin C. I have used stridex and that also helps if you get lots of dirt in your skin. the morning burst is actually really good long term because it wakes you up! try using these in the shower with steamy water. Clean and clear also makes a GREAT system that clears up your skin really fast.

  18. Bumps under your skin same color as your skin–these could be cysts. Are they very painful to the touch? Resist the urge to squeeze.

Redness in the crease of your nose/cheek–believe it or not that could be yeast. Try washing the area with a *dab* of dandruff shampoo.

Overall, two or three times a day–after thoroughly washing your face–steam your face with a moist face towel-as warm/hot as you can stand for about five minutes. Steaming opens up the pores and loosens the trapped sebum, oil, bacteria and dirt. Then dab a cotton ball in alcohol and swab over your face. Apply acne medicine where needed. Tea tree oil is great stuff.

If you’re using sunscreen, make sure you use the kind that’s oil free *and* PABA free. Drink lots of water. Avoid heavy make up.

And finally, go see a dermatologist. My acne was at my worst at your age.

Above all, resist the urge to squeeze and don’t pick at your blackheads, whiteheads, pimples or cysts. Keep your hands clean and avoid touching your face–that spreads the oil and bacteria.

I don’t think you’ll be completely cured before school begins, but you’ll start to see results.

Your dermatologist may want to put you on oral antibiotics, so if you’re allergic, let your doctor know.

  19. Don’t worry I know exactly how you feel I suggest you go to your doctor or dermatologist and ask for some special soap bar, and for some acne pills.
    1. DO NOT PICK AT YOUR ZITS!!
    2. don’t wash your face every second, may irritate it even more.
    3. Don’t try different products together at the same time, may make it worse.

  20. Hey hon,
A good skincare routine is essential at your age. Acne is not natural and you do not have to live with it.
I am a rep. for two doctors that have skincare products with prescription medication in them.
I would have mom look at their site with you and talk about a skincare regimen. They offer 100% money back guarantee.
Feel free to contact me for more info. at freshfacegirl@hotmail.com
    Hope this helps

  21. Use a 1-2% BHA http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/351364/exfoliation_nation.html?cat=5

also use a 5% benzoyl peroxide. Do not use them at the same time — use one in the morning and one at night. If your skin gets too dry, use one on even days and one on odd days.

  22. The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.
Try searching it through Google ‘shopaholic’s bargains’
